Always trying to bring out the best in people, Jordan is happy to be part of Writers Give Back. Having grown up actively involved in the community, he is excited to finally be able to mix the two things he believes in most: Entertainment and Community Service. Besides being a Director for the Iola Foundation, he has also been on the Board of PROJECT SUCCESS, headed up a Key Club division and been part of over 2000 hours of community service.

Jordan has also had the privilege in working with great minds, like Dreamworks’ Stacey Snider and Josephson Entertainment’s Barry Josephson, as well as working on the hit productions HOUSE and BONES.

niki is from gary, indiana.
she hates spiders, but thinks they are beautiful.
she has been to every state in the midwest.
she has never gone sky diving, and never plans to.
she misses snow on Christmas, but not on any other day of the year.
the man who lives in the apartment above her has lead feet and is so loud she swears one day he is going to crash through.
she doesn’t really like baked fruit, but loves making apple pie and peach cobbler.
she spends most of her time dreaming of one day living in Paris, France, sipping lattes from her usual seat in the back of a smoky coffee shop.

Originally hailing from Dallas, Texas, Gabriel is happy to be part of the Writers Give Back team. While he's not a republican, religious or blonde, He did grow up across the street from a farm, took riding lessons and is quite unafraid of possums, coyotes and cow-patties. In addition he has a strange affinity for the Waffle House and is slightly embarrassed to admit that he knows how to shoot a shotgun. However, he now lives next to a nice Korean family that he torments ever morning as he belts country songs from the shower. Some of his latest obsessions include; Pistachio macarons, pants with suspenders, and pictures of airplane food. Lastly, he is a closeted comic book geek, and is still waiting for his super powers to manifest. Oh, and he thinks that global warming is very real.

Kate started her career in the entertainment industry at the age of eleven as “Emily” in the cult classic film 3 Ninjas, directed by Jon Turteltaub. After appearing in numerous films, television shows, and commercials, she went on to attend U.C. Berkeley, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in English and Dramatic Arts. While in the U.K. earning her Masters Degree in Text and Performance Studies from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Kate wrote, directed, and produced her original play Revolving Door. After its successful three week run in London, Kate took her production on tour to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe where it received rave reviews. Since returning to Los Angeles in the Fall of 2003, Kate has worked in various areas of the entertainment industry. Most notably she was the casting assistant on Superman Returns, the casting associate on the Jerry Bruckheimer-produced Close to Home, Executive Assistant to the Showrunners of the television shows JUSTICE and BURN NOTICE, and most recently as the Script Coordinator/Writers Assistant on a new half hour comedy Spike TV show called FACTORY. In addition, Kate wrote, directed, and produced her first short film, Another Foreign Concept, and continues to develop her own projects for the stage and screen.

Janelle is originally from Worcester, Massachusetts. Therefore if you like the Yankees, don't talk to her. The only thing she is die hard about besides the Red Sox is Dave Matthews. Janelle loves New Orleans, London & Vegas (in that order). One day she will move to London and be happy in the rain. Janelle, for some reason cannot hail a cab in NYC but can beat you hands down at beer pong/ beirut.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Janelle moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in casting in 2003. Janelle has been a member of the Amy Lippens casting team since 2004. Janelle is very excited to join together with writersgiveback.org and create awareness in the industry. And yes she cried when the Pats lost the Superbowl.

John Francis O'Brien, the Artist Formerly Know As John O'Brien is an example of the best that New Jersey has to offer. John has been acting since he was ten when his father realized he would not be carrying out the family legacy of being a great football player, though not from a lack of trying. A mutual decision was reached that the tears he shed on a football field after getting knocked to the ground, would be better applied to a play. He is still determined to right that wrong, and is desperately hoping Friday Night Lights will call, so he can prove to his dad that football and tears go together very well. After graduating from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a BFA in Acting, John realized that corporate America doesn't know what a BFA is, and decided that he would have to actually go into the field of Acting. He made his feature film debut in Kevin Jordan's Brooklyn Lobster, starring Danny Aiello. His New York stage debut was in the off-Broadway play Sniper at NYC's CenterStage. He had the distinction of being called, "cherubic" by one reviewer, despite the fact that he was playing a teenage gunman who killed 16 people. John has also appeared in commercials for Dr. Pepper and MTV (where Britney Spears ruined his big night on TV- by kissing Madonna and stealing his thunder. He has never really forgiven her.) Classically trained in London, John was most recently seen on stage at the historic Pasadena Playhouse in Matter of Honor.
