Mission Statement:

Artists Give Back is a community of creative entertainment industry professionals who provide their unique talents and resources to charitable organizations in need of support. While engaging in volunteer work with one another, Artists Give Back creates social and professional networking opportunities for artists.

How We Do It:

During the Hollywood writers’ strike of 2008, some of us realized we could be doing something useful with our time and skills when we weren’t walking the picket line. It turned out that not only are a lot of people and groups in need of help, but many writers, musicians, actors, and performers need help finding the right match for their talents and interests.

Most people don’t have the time to do a lot of research to find where they can plug in. That’s where we come in.

Artists Give Back offers a map for Writers, Actors, and Musicians to meet talented people in their field who want to get involved and make an impact in their community. We bridge the gap between non-profit organizations in need of volunteers and services from writers, actors, and musicians and our members who endeavor to give back locally and globally.

Essentially, our community of artists use their unique talents in ways that…bring a child’s imagination to life…provide a family with their first book…put a smile on the face of someone undergoing chemotherapy… challenge a stereotype...teach an at-risk young adult healthy ways to express themselves…

Our Partners

Artists Give Back works with not-for-profit organizations in need of access to talented actors, writers, and musicians. We serve as a system of support that helps to enable these groups fulfill their charitable mission.

Our primary focus is to identify and reach out to organizations who need access to written and/or performed talent. We support them by promoting their causes amongst our community, hosting events in their honor, and advocating for their causes.

Our family of organizations allow for a contagious burst of connection and action. There purpose is to serve as a hub, to provide a network and resources linking artists with other organizations working to make a difference in their communities. We connect artists with groups to increase visibility, imagination, effectiveness and participation. A dating service, if you will, connecting artists and civic groups and projects
